2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and limited technical data needed to run the site and deliver services:
- Contact & booking: name, email, phone, company, message, preferred time — via our contact form, Calendly booking, phone or SMS, email, or Meta Instant Forms / ads.
- Health Check / Discovery: business website or domain and related public-facing details you share so we can review publicly visible exposure (for example email authentication and site headers). We do not ask for passwords or install agents for the free External Security Health Check.
- Payments: if you purchase services online, payment is processed by Stripe; we receive confirmation details (not full card numbers).
- Site & ops telemetry: IP address, browser/device info, pages viewed, and performance/error signals (including Datadog RUM) to keep the site reliable and secure.
- Admin access: session cookies only for authenticated admin users of this site.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and schedule Health Checks or calls
- Deliver Free External Security Health Check reports and related follow-up
- Provide paid remediation, monitoring, and support you request
- Process payments and send receipts or service notices
- Improve the website, measure ad performance, and prevent abuse
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use free Health Check inputs to run unauthorized access against your systems.
4. Sharing & processors
We share data only with providers that help us operate, under their own terms and safeguards, including for example:
- Hosting / infrastructure (Google Cloud)
- Scheduling (Calendly)
- Advertising & Instant Forms (Meta)
- Payments (Stripe)
- Email delivery and mailbox providers
- Application monitoring (Datadog)
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (with notice where appropriate).
5. Cookies & similar tech
We use essential cookies for admin sessions and third-party technologies for analytics, ads measurement, and booking embeds. You can control cookies through your browser; some features may not work if you block them. Meta and Calendly may set their own cookies when you interact with their tools.
6. Retention
We keep contact and project records as long as needed to provide services, handle follow-ups, meet legal/accounting needs, or resolve disputes — then delete or de-identify when no longer required.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small consultancy. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use unique passwords for any portals we provide and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or opt out of marketing emails, by contacting a.caruso@arcanedigitalshield.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some records may be retained where we must keep them for legal or legitimate business reasons.
If you submitted a Meta Instant Form, you can also manage ad preferences and lead data through your Meta account settings.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
